Julia’s First Plane trip

On Thursday Nov. 30 Julia and mommy packed up and headed to the airport for the first time together. We were on an adventure to visit Nana and Papa for a weekend in San Rafael. Lots of shopping and getting spoiled by Nana and a day in Sacramento visiting the “great” aunties. And the discovery of a musical genius…..well maybe not quite a genius, but a girl that LOVES the piano!

Turkey Day this year was spent with Ryan’s side of the family. With all the life changing events in our family this year (life, death & marriage) it seemed appropriate to have this years thanksgiving at Jackie & Mike’s house. Dinner was delicious! Everyone sat down at one big table to a feast fit for a king: a juicy, golden brown turkey, cheesy potato casserole, yams, cranberry sauce, veggies with pecan pie and cheesecake for dessert!
A lovely afternoon of cooking, chatting and playing; It was not just a day and a meal to be thankful for but a wonderful family too.
